Job Title: Community Studio Principal
Job Location: Arlington, Virginia
Job Description: Little Diversified Architectural Consulting (Little), an international architecture and design firm, is recognized for developing exceptional design solutions that generate business results in the workplace, community, healthcare and retail industries. Little delivers results beyond architecture by combining expertise in architecture, engineering, interior architecture, land development, CAFM & occupancy planning, brand communication and design, building technology applications, and digital media services. The firm has over 415 employees in 5 offices across the United States and in Beijing, China.

The Community Studio Principal will lead a team of people within our Arlington office who specialize in the design and construction of community based projects including Higher Education, Civic, and K-12 Schools.

You will have the opportunity to mentor and build a team of individuals dedicated to community projects, while collaborating on a daily basis with your team and leaders within the Arlington office. You will have access to a wide-range of resources as you partner on a regular basis with Community and Corporate leaders from across the firm.

Our ideal candidate possesses experience in securing important design opportunities and subsequently building sustainable relationships with a core sector of clients. The candidate may have experience in one or more of the following client types: Public and private higher education, public and private K-12 schools, municipal/city/county/state/federal governments as well as non-profit companies.

•You enjoy project involvement leading clients to solutions that help improve their performance.
•You excel at financial performance and financial project tracking.
•You would enjoy representing Little in the community, creating a strong regional reputation for Little and yourself through speaking writing and bringing exposure to progressive new ideas.

Requirements for this role:
•Integrity, honesty, and selfless leadership;
•A minimum 10 years of experience in the design profession;
•Registered Architect; and
•LEED Accredited Professional is a plus.
