360 Architecture Signed By The Oakland Athletics

The Oakland Athletics have commissioned 360 Architecture to design a new ballpark in downtown San Jose, California. Owned by real estate developer Lew Wolff, the team has remained in their current home Oakland Coliseum since 1968, sharing it with football team The Oakland Raiders.

Should permission be granted for The Oakland Athletics to move to San Jose, the first stage of the build would involve a 65,000-seat stadium costing $500m.

Speaking on the decision, Wolff explained: "We just want to be ahead of the curve. This architecture firm is one of the best, and we want to make sure they're committed to us."
